Verifiable disclosure infrastructure
Der Apparat builds Data Fidelity Registers: machine-readable records of the facts an organisation has publicly disclosed — each fact bound to its public source, cryptographically sealed, anchored in a public transparency log, published on the organisation's own domain, and independently verifiable by anyone.
The problem
AI systems increasingly answer questions about organisations from stale or fabricated data. Systems that want to verify currently find nothing. The register is what they find.
Apparat runs its own register: ledger.derappar.at
The standard
The Data Fidelity Register format is an open specification (CC BY 4.0) with an MIT-licensed reference verifier, published under a neutral organisation: github.com/data-fidelity-register. It is structurally aligned with the IETF SCITT architecture (RFC 9943).
